Hippolytus @ The Colepit V&A 03/10/2014
Antic Face is a newly launched theatre company. Formed by two long-time friends, the company has twin aims: to redress a gender imbalance that persists in all fields of theatre; and to provide a collaborative place for young people seeking to enter the this world in any capacity. This exciting duo, Emma Hall and Charlie Parham, are being hotly watched as they embark on the company’s London debut.
Antic Face launches its first production in an extraordinary and unique venue. The V&A’s tunnel entrance will host the world premiere of Raphael and McLeish’s powerful translation of the classic Hippolytus, set to newly composed music by underground renowned composer Hatty Carman.
This stylish production will be a first for the V&A, and for the theatre buffs out there this really isn’t one to miss. For ticket sales, head here – we’ve got ours!
